In 1959, Lawrence Gada donated waterfront land to Bayside Beach Association, to manage and upkeep, for collective use by the neighborhood residents to access the waterfront. The Association properties are comprised of 2 Bayside Avenue, 130 Niantic River Road, and 14A Bayside Avenue (no available access). The neighborhood consists of property with deeded rights between Fifth and Tenth Avenues, inclusive.
