The 2025
Annual Meeting of Bayside Beach Association will be held on Saturday, June 27,
4-6pm 8 Seventh Avenue. Gather for hot dogs and hamburgers prior to
the annual meeting. Food and
non-alcoholic beverages provided. Bring
your own spirited drinks, if desired. If
you want to bring a food item to share, you are welcome to do so, but not required. The meeting will begin at 5pm to discuss the
treasurer’s report, year in review, new business, election of officers.
If you are
interested in an officer position, please send an email to
BaysideBeach2@aol.com by June 22 to express your interest. A description
of the positions is provided in the by-laws which are located here and described below.
Your name will be added to the ballot, and you will have the opportunity to
describe your background and interest to meeting attendees prior to the
voting.

Description
of officers:
The
activities, property and affairs of the Corporation shall be arranged and
controlled by a Board of Directors, herein after called the Executive
Committee. The Executive Committee shall have general charge of the
policy, management, and finances of the Corporation.
There shall
be four officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary and
Treasurer. The Treasurer shall be bonded. Officers shall be
residing property owners in good standing, and they shall be elected to and
take office at the annual meeting of the Corporation. Term of office
shall begin on the day of the election and shall extend until the officer
retires or is elected out. Retiring officers shall turn over all records,
properties and moneys of the Corporation to any newly elected officers within
30 days after the election.
The Executive
Committee shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer,
Dock Chairperson, Dock Co-Chairperson, and three elected members-at-large in
good standing.
The duties of
the President, or in his/her absence, the Vice-President, shall be to preside
at all meetings, and they shall perform such other duties as usually pertain to
their offices.
The duties of
the Secretary shall be to keep a true record of all meetings, issue all notices
in relation to meetings, and to write all correspondence.
The duties of the Treasurer shall be to issue all bills, receive all moneys from the membership, and to pay all bills contracted when they have been approved by the officers and one member of the Executive Committee.
The duties of
the elected members-at-large of the Executive Committee shall be to chair special
projects and work efforts, as assigned by the Executive Committee.
